Driving on Fjords with Sigur Rós

We spent several days in the most remote places on our travels and slowed down a little bit. Speaking of slowing down - geocaching doesn't let us really but the rainy weather does :-)

Enveloped in fog, remote, fascinating, uninhabited

Seydisfjordur

Getting from a fjord to a fjord takes a lot of time and kilometers. As Petr says: 'The    time flies, the number of kilometers to go is not getting smaller and we are running out of petrol' :-)

On our way to Neskaupstadur we went through a tunnel measuring 6 km and then through one more which went up and downhill inside. Very peculiar.

When driving on the fjords we listened to Sigur Rós in the car. Their music together with the views of the mountains with snow capped peaks hidden in fog is an indescribable, mysterious and unforgettable experience.
