Reykjavik and the Golden Circle

The second and third day we spent the way many visitors do when coming to Iceland for a longer weekend or a week. That's why we were coming across crowds epanywhere we went. Unlike e.g. In India crowds here don't really mean crowds ;-)
We walked Reykjavik on Monday and drove to Gullfoss via Thingvellir national park and the Geysir site. We had much fun with the caches on both days. Iceland is very good at geocaching. There are not that many caches as e.g. In the Czech Republic but they are well hidden and maintained. We have found 100 % of the caches searched here.

There are more observations to be shared with you:
The locals are not very talkative, our landlord gave us a key and literally ran away from us and we haven't seen him since :-)
geothermal power and energy is number one electricity and heat resource here. Our hot water in the apartment is really hot and it smells of sulphur. Luckily I like that smell.
It is quite expensive here but if you shop smart you won't pay through the nose here.
